Film poster 1: Shutter Island

The image of Leonardo DiCaprio is the biggest image on the poster, suggesting that his character will be the main one (his name above the title of the film also suggests this as well).The title of the film "shutter island" combined with the image of an island being hit by a storm suggests that this could be the setting of the film.The poster doesn't give much away about when the film is set except that there is a lighthouse on the island which could mean that the film could be set anytime in the last 150 years. From the poster you could guess that the genre of the film could be thriller or even horror judging by the darkness of the poster and the isolation of the island.

There are four characters stood in the middle of the poster suggesting that these are the main characters. The female characters though are stood with there backs to the male characters, suggesting some kind of conflict between the characters.
